Way back before the 360 was released, Microsoft promised to have free Gold-level weekends for Silver-level Xbox Live users so they could see what they were missing out on. Now the first of those promotions is finally upon us. Starting April 1, which really is kind of a bad day to start anything, Verizon will sponsor a 72 hour free Gold weekend. Anyone with an Xbox 360 will be able to play against friends online. So, all five of you, have fun with that.
