Plot Thickens in Case of Gizmondo Crash

This whole story is so tangentally related to gaming I almost feel bad mentioning it, but since I've already covered it once I might as well update.

As investigation continues into the crash of an Enzo Ferrari owned by former Gizmondo executive Stefan Eriksson, police have found a gun magazine near the site which may be linked to the accident. How exactly that would tie in, I don't know, but Eriksson has bigger problems. First, the police are still looking to interview the mysterious "Dietrich" Eriksson claimed was driving at the time. Second, the police are also saying the car didn't have appropriate papers, meaning it wasn't street legal to begin with. Finally, it seems the initial estimate of the car's speed at 120 mph was a bit short:

But in fact, Brooks said Monday, the car was traveling 162 mph when it crashed, far faster than the 120 mph originally believed. The Ferrari, with just a few inches of undercarriage clearance, hit a bump at a crest in the road, sending the vehicle airborne and into the power pole, Brooks said.

Turns out this Enzo was one of two Eriksson had brought into the US, and he had numerous other sports cars in his collection. How is it that people can be executives in collapsed corporations and still have millions of dollars to spend on sports cars?
