EA Announces Classic Game Compiliation

For you old fogies, EA has announced a collection of classics from their library, to be released on the PSP. Now you can play Road Rash and Wing Commander out on your porch in between bouts of yelling at the neighbor kids to keep off your lawn.

The collection will feature a total of 14 games, including the following: Syndicate, Ultima VII: The Black Gate, Road Rash I-III, Wing Commander, Wing Commander: The Secret Missions, B.O.B., Budokan, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Haunting Starring Polterguy, Virtual Pinball, and Mutant League Football. Gamasutra also reports that some games will have enhanced features, like head-to-head multiplayer and the ability to save at any point (a godsend if it gets applied to the Strike series). What they don't say is whether the games will be changed to accomodate the PSP's widescreen or whether they'll play pillarboxed to retain their original aspect ratio.

The package is a very reasonably priced $19.99, and set to be released November 15.
