Jack Thompson's contempt hearing was today. Unfortunately, Judge Friedman recused himself from the case, meaning the charge will have to go to a different judge in the next few days. Friedman isn't handling the contempt case because he's filing a complaint of his own with the Florida Bar. Zing!
You can watch a video of the proceedings, with Jack acting like a child and holding up a posterboard sign with the rules for handling contempt of court on it.

Comments
I'm more excited about Guitar Hero 2 than anything in recent memory. That Claypool interview is a great read; there's something about a person who has both celebrity status and knowledge of the word "Gamecube" that earns them bonus points in my book.
My Wal-Mart(s) didn't have the game available, but since it's out now at least a bunch of videos will surface.

I'd say the reason your Wal-Mart(s) didn't have the game is because it comes out November 7. Also, it doesn't help that Wal-Mart is essentially the worst place to get new games. You'll be lucky if they stock it when they're supposed to.
