New Releases for 01-29-07

Oh God Rogue Galaxy is out where is my wallet

Also, I'm going to try switching the price links back to Amazon for a while. Their system is kind of screwy, but EB's isn't perfect either. More importantly, I hadn't noticed that EB charges $5 extra for some games online the same way they do in their stores.

  • Rogue Galaxy (PS2) - A new action RPG from the developers of the Dark Cloud series and Dragon Quest VIII. $39.82 at Amazon.
  • Battlestations: Midway (360, PC) - A tactical action game set in WWII in which one can switch between controlling battleships, carriers, submarines and planes on the fly. $59.82 for the 360, $39.99 for the PC.
  • Vanguard: Saga of Heroes (PC) - One group of developers had the guts to stand up and say "What the market needs is a MMORPG set in a fantasy world." $49.99 for the regular edition, or $99.00 for the collector's edition. The latter of which is $9 over MSRP, so clearly Amazon is not the solution to all my problems here.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3) - Now PS3 owners can taste the pain. $54.99 at Amazon.
  • Fuzion Frenzy 2 (360) - The party game series that started out early in the life of the original Xbox is back with over 40 mini-games and, naturally, online play. $49.82 at Amazon.
  • Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich (PC) - The expansion pack for people who just can't stop killing Nazis. $29.99 at Amazon.
  • City Life: World Edition (PC) - An updated version of the original City Life that includes new maps, over 100 new buildings and a content editor. $29.99 at Amazon.
  • Monopoly: Here and Now (PC) - An update to the classic boardgame that adjusts prices, property and even tokens (you can play as a cheeseburger, sadly) to reflect the modern world. $18.99 at Amazon.
