Normally I don't just link Flash games, but Flash Element TD is really addictive. So much so that I started playing it again when I should be typing this.

The Wii really is loud. I have a surround sound setup, and whenever you go to the Mii Channel there's this really low bass noise that irritates the hell out of me. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

i haven't noticed the wii being particularly loud, although it is quite far away and i am generally unobservant. now it will probably be all i hear :(
anyway it is interesting that the guy took readings from the "sides" of the 360 and ps3 when they in the horizontal position, but he took his wii readings from the side of the wii in vertical position, which would be the bottom of the wii in horizontal position (the default position?). i dunno if this would affect anything though.

The only time I really hear the Wii is when I'm on the main menu, and it decides to spin up whatever disc I have in so that it can be displayed.
Once I'm in a game though, I can't say I've ever noticed any noise.
