- Counter-Strike Online, the special East Asian version of Counter-Strike, saw 170,000 players in its three day closed beta.
- A World of Warcraft guild plans to march from Ironforge to Stormwind on New Years Day in support of Ron Paul. Don't worry about who gets loot, the free market will sort that out.
- If that's not enough to make you feel embarrassed about any association with the game you may have, then watch as a WoW nerd makes a rap about the lack of a patch and Blizzard's community manager actually makes a rap in response. Well, they're not so much raps as mumbling quickly.

the best part about that eurogamer article is it so inconveniently lists the same 50 games as everyone else.
also zelda figures for $15+shipping. i've never been a figurines guy but that's a heck of a deal
