The Single Most Bizarre Piece of News You'll See Today
Darth Vader and Yoda have, of all Goddamned things, joined the cast of Soul Calibur IV. I don't know why and it's very possible no one on Earth will ever know why. I dunno, maybe the developers saw how fixated people were with recreating popular characters through SCIII's character creation system and thought they'd take it one step further. Maybe they said "well, we already had Spawn, we can't make this any worse." Maybe there's just a gas leak in Bandai-Namco's offices. In any case, it will be.. interesting to see how they work in game, especially when one of them is two feet tall.
Embeded after the break is the game's new trailer, in which the two Star Wars icons are formally introduced.

I think it's hilarious how people are reacting. YOU GOT YOUR ROUND-EYE STAR WARS IN MY GENERIC JAPANESE FIGHTING VIDEO GAME. It's a video game. You don't have to play as the characters, so don't. Get over it, it's hardly a big deal.

Yes, this is clearly an issue of what country the characters came from.

Wait, so you're mad because characters in Soul Calibur aren't historically accurate? hahahah.

Heihachi used a weapon appropriate for any time period: A goddamn fist to the face.
