New Releases for 02-25-08
- Frontlines: Fuel of War (360, PC) - A first-person shooter about countries fighting over depleting natural resources. At least it's not Nazis, I guess. $59.99 on the 360, $49.99 on the PC.
- Patapon (PSP) - Real time strategy controlled via rhythm-based button combos. $19.99 at Amazon.
- Lost Via Domus (360, PC, PS3) - A video game based on the hit TV show Domus. $59.99 on the 360 and PS3, $29.99 on the PC.
- Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (360, PS3, PC) - An alternate history FPS in which the Nazis (d'oh) won WWII. Unrelated to the upcoming Turing Point: Fall of Liberty, where a man can't tell he's talking to Skynet over AIM and then it all goes to hell. $59.99 on the 360 and PS3, $39.99 on the PC.
- Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (PS3) - If you picked PS3 instead of 360, now you finally get your chance to shoot bugs in the snow. $39.99 at Amazon.
- Naruto: Ninja Destiny (DS) - The first 3D head-to-head Naruto fighter for the DS. $29.99 at Amazon.
- The Sims 2: FreeTime (PC) - I guess it's about giving your Sims hobbies. A hobby sounds like a good idea, maybe you should try that out. $29.99 for the regular or $39.99 for the limited edition which includes Sims 2 Deluxe.
- Destroy All Humans: Big WIlly Unleashed (Wii) - Big Willy is apparently a fast food mascot who is really a giant mech. Okay. $49.99 at Amazon.
Naturally there's about a dozen DS games that I haven't bothered to fully list here, ranging from Bubble Bobble: Double Shot to long-awaited release of Bratz Super Babyz. There's also Sega Bass Fishing on the Wii and Heavenly Guardian, which is worth noting just because it's a new PS2 release. The full release list can be seen at Gamasutra.
