- Army of Two has been refused classification in Germany, and EA is currently in talks with the ratings board "to review next steps for its releaseā.
- The Sun Sentinel has an article on Guitar Hero inspiring kids to take real guitar lessons.
- A blogger named Landon Dyer relates a story of how he was hired by Atari to port Donkey Kong to the Atari 800.
- Take-Two has prepared severance packages for employees who get fired in the event that the company is bought out.
- Sega has updated its Dreamcast.com website with the question "Do you still own a Dreamcast?" and a link where you can use your system's serial number to register for a user.dreamcast.com account.

- In an e-mail response to player feedback, Valve's Robin Walker casually drops the news that the Medic's overhealer gun won't be coming after all.
- Irrational's third-person shooter/survival horror game The Lost, due for the PS2 and Xbox, was fairly close to completion before it was canceled. Now the game has reappeared, restyled but mostly the same at its core, as an Indian PC game called Agni: Queen Of Darkness.
- Asthmatic Kitty Records has released, for free, a compilation album designed for use with Audiosurf. "This fifteen track compilation is unique in that we painstakingly combed through their web of friends to find songs that represent not only high quality music, but also intensive and challenging gameplay experiences for the independent videogame, AudioSurf."

- As in Japan, some people are having trouble getting Smash Bros. to play in their Wiis. And, as in Japan, the issue is apparently dirty lenses having a harder time reading dual-layer DVDs. (Note: Destructoid has posited the theory that Nintendo is hiding the fact that some Wii drives are bad. Then again, Destructoid is also chock full o' nuts) At any rate, Nintendo is offering to fix the problem for free if you send in your system for cleaning. (or replacing! DUN DUN DUN)
- Sega has announced that Puyo Puyo 2 and Powerball are coming soon to the Virtual Console.
- Australia's ratings board has rated Guitar Hero: On Tour for the DS.
- Bleach: Dark Souls will be coming to the DS this summer.
- Taito has announced Space Invaders Get Even for the Wii, a game in which you play as the aliens.
