New media: Rock Revolution gameplay footage with added cringe factor
- In addition to World Tour being compatible with Rock Band instruments, World Tour instruments will also work with the first Rock Band. Isn't it better when we all get along?
- Continuing from comments made by execs from EA and Ubisoft, David Perry has criticized E3 as well, calling it "broken", "expensive" and "an embarrassment."
- Speaking of being an embarrassment, EA has extended the time limit on their Take Two offer yet again.
- 18 of the 20 titles in the new sales charts for Germany and Spain are on Nintendo systems.
- British Gaming Blog has a list of what games were no-shows at E3. I had forgotten that I was kind of expecting a second Beyond Good & Evil trailer.

- A Ghost Recon pack containing all five games in the series has been added to Steam for $39.99.

- Capcom has officially announced Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop for American release.
- The Milestone Shooting Collection is coming to America. The disc includes three games: Chaos Field, Radilgy and Karous.
- Wired imagines the Nintendo conference everyone wanted and no one got. "Shaun White: (Says nothing, as he is not on stage.)"
- The Famicase exhibition in Japan has artists coming up with fake Famicom carts for non-existant Famicom games. You can see this year's gallery here.

New media: LittleBigPlanet boss fight gameplay, Warhawk and Uncharted Home Game Space screenshots
- Konami has apologized for the Metal Gear Online problems, but say there "are no permanent solutions" for the time being.
- Kotaku has unofficial details on MAG based on what Sony showed to a focus group less than a month before E3.
- Target reservation cards mention an October 21 release date for LittleBigPlanet.
- Capable players may be able to sell their LittleBigPlanet creations. For real money.
- Jack Tretton says that dropping backwards compatibility was a cost issue. "If you paid $599 for [one] machine that had backwards compatibility, now for $529 you can get a PS3 and a PS2. You can stack them on top of each other if you really want to."
- The PS3 video service is not coming to PAL territories in 2008.
- BioShock will be getting trophies, with 2K providing a couple of examples.
