The Error Macro Video Gallery - Really Big or Rather Big

In honor of the July 4th weekend, this week's gallery starts off with the level transition cutscenes from the criminally underappreciated* fireworks puzzler Fantavision. Of course, July 4 is already over. And these cutscenes don't have much in the way of fireworks in them. So I guess the whole thing is really more non-sequitur than anything else. But that's appropriate, because they don't make any sense in the game either.

* Kids! Only a certain percentage of this statement is sarcasm -- use the Pocket Science Guide from last ish to calculate how much! Ask your parents to help!

A reasonable approximation of GlaDOS from Portal used to voice a GPS navigation system. Seems like it would get annoying after about two minutes, but I think that about GPS systems in general. I didn't even like them in GTA4.

The girlfriend from last week's Team Fortress 2 video is back, this time playing Age of Conan. While these videos can demonstrate the different ways a non-gamer may approach a game versus a veteran, the more important lesson is showing how we're the same. We all hate mission NPCs.

There was also a video made a while back of her playing BioShock.

Now you can learn the 5 big secrets of level 2 in Bubsy 3D, like "get to a high place" and "get to another high place." The man's tone of voice makes it clear he has long since lost the will to live.

What's terrifying is that this guy has 243 videos in his account, almost all of them guides to bugs or leveling spots. You see he has all level 99 characters in Final Fantasy Tactics and think he's committed; you see he accumulated 999 rings in one level of Sonic Adventure DX and think he should be committed. If this isn't some form of autism at work, I don't know what the hell.

Episode 5 of Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin' bears out what we already know in our hearts to be true: Dedede players are assholes. Their embed code seems to be having trouble, so if it doesn't load immediately, just watch it here.

I don't like this new direction Hayao Miyazaki has taken. (If this video makes no sense, this might help)

To leave you with something to stick in your head for the rest of the day, here is the rocking opening theme to the 1983 Joe Don Baker classic Joysticks. A movie that's out on DVD and available through Netflix, should you ever feel the urge to watch people play totally awesome video ga-a-a-a-a-a-mes!

Pretty sure Ulillillia the Bubsy guy actually is autistic you insensitive prick.

goddamn you're going to hell now bill

I read that guy's "dream journal" through his Youtube profile and it was entertaining. Those wacky Aspies and their lucid dreaming escapades!

I'm going to Hell also.

Hey, I said it must be autism, I wasn't joking.

Definition of Asperger's:

A self-diagnosed developmental disorder contracted from reading the Wikipedia page about the condition. Having Asperger's means that you are smarter than everyone else and it totally forgives all the lazy anti-social choices you make in life.
