I was recently reminded that Gamespot never finished their Flashback video series. I don't have any grander point to make here, it just bugs me because I had that page bookmarked for a long time, waiting for them to finally update it. Of course, half the people involved don't even work at Gamespot anymore.

The wired 360 Stratocaster guitar actually DOES work with GH:A. I just tried it myself.

It's worth noting that Junot Diaz (author of the GTA4 article) recently picked up a Pulitzer Prize for "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao," a novel about a Dominican geek who thrives on science fiction and Japanese RPGs. Given his own background, it's probably more than a little autobiographical.

Abomstar you have raised a larger question which is why did you buy Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

That game definitely pulls its own weight. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do -- there's a lot of nice variety with the songs. Not a whole lot of challenge (only 10 songs left to FC; none so far have taken me more than about 5 tries, and only 2 real lasting difficult ones.)
So to answer your question it's only because GH/RB are now the focal point of my existence.
